Equality of Opportunities


Novasoft is a company with a strong compromise with the equality of opportunities between men and women. Novasoft is aware that the implementation of equality policies requires the creation of specific instruments that must bear in mind that we are talking about a problem that, which is not only temporary but also has important cultural components, of a personal identity and a structural basis.

In this way, the Organic Law 3/2007 for equality between men and women, foresees the creation of Equality Plans in businesses and public organizations with these plans being compulsory for companies with more than 250 workers. With this challenge in mind, Novasoft decided to start internal action and the bases of the company´s Equal Opportunities for Men and Women Plan were created.

During 2008 and the beginning of 2009, various phases were developed in order to establish the general lines of the equality of men and women action plan. The Equality Plan also involves the initial diagnosis carried out in the company regarding some levels of equality between men and women indifferent areas and aspects. The main areas detected within the company for which the direct action plan was thought of are also specified.

This Equality Plan also considers the general and specific objectives that were set out by Novasoft. The general proposed and agreed measures are specified, along with their respective indicators in  order to optimize internal equality.
